 video girl syndrome "open"

video girl rocked my world for a whole two seconds,
and now i know im not about to be another victum.

the rushed through the are. it was a windy day. it carried all the commotion from one of the tents. "hey touts, want to swallow something else?" that had been more than enough. his whimpering was disgusting; she was the one that really should be weeping from sexual harrasment, but she still stood tall. she knew that sir mitri would be pissed that Aubree hit customer. oh well. its not the first time.

Aubree stood amoung the crowd of people surrounding the food stands. now that she had gotten away from all the people, she wouldnt be found to be yelled at for a while. hopefully no one followed her or saw from a distance what had occured. she was sure, though, that if someone had heard what that pig said, they would say "good for you!"

aubree was questioning whether she was hungry or not. she didnt really like eating when her show wasnt going to go on for a bit, but she just punched some pig in the face, so maybe a scoop of icecream would be worth it. without realisation, she was already in the line-up. this pleased her. she got to hit someone, and she was in a line up for icecream. this might actually be a good day.

The wind rushed along the ground, scattering garbage and lifting up old newspapers. It rushed up the bark of a tree and through the leaves, causing them to clatter back together after its disturbance. A lone shadow slipped along the ground, reaching along the litter strewn ground. The wind caught up with the shadow and rolled up its maker and teased their hair into the air. It flipped back into place, and he boredly swept a hand through his hair, putting it back in its general place. He looked down at the dusty hard packed ground and kicked idly at a wrapper with a bare foot. His shoes, well he wasn’t sure where they were. He never really wore them anyway. People would give him the strangest looks. They didn’t get it. Those words went in one ear and tightly wound up in his brain. They didn’t understand. For a man like Jasper, wearing shoes was like...someone walking around with their eyes closed. He had to feel the ground beneath his feet, every inch of it. Up in the sky, you learned the one thing you could count on was touch. The feeling on a wire underneath your feet, your toes taut around the thin string that stopped you from your certain death. Your hands wrapped around a trapeze, the chalky dust unforgiving on the metal, saving you from dropping. So it was only natural for Jasper to be uncomfortable in shoes. Even his acrobat shoes made him uncomfortable.

Like a movie just being turned to full volume, Jaspers surroundings hit him hard. He was standing in the middle of the tents, yet there were so many people around, their voices clashing. The light indicated it was around mid day. This place was never really dead, except when they were about to move on to another world. The wind carried a noise to Jaspers ears. Without realizing, he started to move. Outside a simple tent, his body was hid in the slight shadow. He was there just to see it. See what happened. Jasper didn't know what to think of it, he didn't have the full story, he didn't want to think about it. So he didn't. Then, just like that, the girl walked out. He recognized her, a girl from the carnival, no doubt. He searched his mind for a name, any name. He knew her, he did. Then, there it was, like it was carried in from the wind. Aubree, fire breather.

His body seemed to have a mind of its own, he realized while realizing he knew this already that he was following her quick steps away from the tents. There was no plan to this, he just followed, unthinking. She led him to the food courts, and stood there. Jasper stood back, unsure of what he was doing. He didn’t know why he followed her, it was weird, like a stalker. She was moving again. His feet followed, carrying his confused body with them. He ended up right behind her in the line up for ice cream. “That’s quite the right hook you have,” the words that floated through his head managed to find his mouth. Jasper didn’t really expect this, but right now, what was to be expected? The world was a big mystery, nothing could be guessed, anything could happen now.

'what in the world is taking so long in this line up, all the ice-cream is going to melt at this rate' she thought to herself, overlooking the people in line. The girl at the counter seemed to lazily be scooping up ice-cream in a cup for some guy. It also seemed that she was talking to him. "Hey, ice-lady, shut your trap and get working, there are people who are hungry" bitch. she added silently. Aubree could usually hold herself of this anger, but the moment she put her on a role.

a quick comment was made beside her and she swiftly looked at the guy. he was an acrobat. she had seen his show many times, but she wasnt so sure of the name. She didnt dare speak his name out loud in case she was wrong. he never spoke hers, so she wasnt all that worried about saying his name either. She smiled slightly, "yeah i know, no big deal, i work out." she smiled a little brighter towards her own comment. she really didnt, but she held a lot of anger in a punch. when she released it, there were fire works. "what about you? you must have some guns pulling your weight around all the time, working against gravity and blah blah." she was just making small talk. she wasnt one to make a huge conversation, but she knew it was hard working in this environment. only she could wish people would respect her better for her work, she was sure this guy felt the same way. she was going to show some respect. circus people werent all freaks of nature.

Jasper opened his mouth, about to say, like Aubree, that it was no big deal really. As hard as someone else might think it was, the constant working out and making sure you were fit and the practicing, you got used to it. That wasn’t all though. Jasper remembered the way his libs would shake, on the very point of exhaustion, about to collapse. That happened very little now, just when he pushed himself much to far, which took a long time. He knew he was almost constantly bruised and battered, even if it were just a small bruise somewhere. As skilled as he was, he wasn’t perfect. And with his...little rages, he was usually the more injured of the acrobats. Though, the fact was, he loved his job, loved his life. There was nothing he would rather be doing.

Looking back at Aubree, Jasper smiled just slightly. That was really rare. Usually, if Jasper ever smiled, it was forced, out of courtesy. The smile was for Aubree’s little ‘blah blah’ she tacked onto the end of her words. It was just really unique. “I guess you could say I do have...’guns’ as you put it,” Jasper said, still smiling very slightly. He felt words he wanted to say, just for the sake of conversation, come into his head. He kept his mouth shut, picking and sorting, trying to find something good. “You..your a fire breather, correct? That must be an interesting profession,” he added finally. Jasper had a way of speaking, his voice calm and plain. It was such a difference from when he got angry. He always wondered what others lives were like, what was normal for them. It was one thing he enjoyed finding out.
